We have now merged all known collections into one single catalog of banana labels – the world’s largest and most complete. Magnificent contributions from collectors like Becky, Elvis, Erich, Gerri, John, Josef, Leee, Luis, Michael, Nico, Pablo, Patricio, Peter and many others are gathered here. In total, the catalog contains more than 31,000 different labels, starting back in 1913 with the legendary AFC Tiko Kamerun. The scope is impressive: 4,420 brands, more than 7,020 catalog pages, and treasures that you will not find published anywhere else, such as Alonso, Balea, Galapagos, Jacko, Meloripe or Super Lala Banana. All these gems are brought together in one place, supported by the fastest and most advanced search functions an online catalog can provide.

Creating this catalog has been a true labor of love, passion, and perseverance. Setting up the technical environment, hosting the IT, programming, seeking advice, and scanning collections such as John & Leee’s in Los Angeles has already cost around €4,000–5,000. On top of that, more than 6,000 hours of work went into programming, scanning, comparing, merging, testing, and improving picture quality. It has been a collaborative effort, with many collectors helping along the way, most notably Peter and Anastasia. None of this could have been done without the shared dedication of our community. This catalog is close to our hearts and only possible because we truly love the hobby of collecting banana labels.

The journey does not end here. To keep the catalog alive, it must be constantly updated – every month around 150 to 250 new labels are released. At the same time, we are working to steadily improve quality by replacing older or low-resolution images with perfect 300 dpi scans on a discreet banana-yellow background. And of course, we encourage active trading through the brilliant trade function, which helps collectors balance their collections and build long-lasting friendships all around the world. This catalog is our foundation – like the Brockhaus, the Michel Stamp Catalog, or a Wikipedia of our hobby – concentrated knowledge, unique in size and value, and unmatched anywhere else.

But for all this to succeed, your contribution matters. Doing nothing is not an option. Every little step helps: scanning and aligning labels, verifying details, “liking” or commenting on entries, or simply sharing your perspective. Nobody starts as a master – we all learn by doing, and together we pool our knowledge, our skills, and our positive energy for a common cause.
