ALOA Fresh - the correct name is = ALBA FRESH

These labels were definitely placed on bananas in Ecuador and then put into boxes. Just like the “Artes” labels – they didn’t get on bananas in Russia.
The difference is that, for example, Colombian bananas were taken out of the boxes in South Korea and put into plastic bags. Then the South Korean label came on these bags…

For me it is totally ok what it is now, I just suggest that if we really want to include company info, that it is included at catalog entry, and not as another parameter at label, such as country of company's origin.

Why not leave things as they are, why try to fix something that has worked well.

zantrost (2018-11-20)

My suggestion is that when we click on catalog entry, on the top of page it shows all information about company: logo, name, address, website..., if we find all these information. And leave country of origin just as it is now.

My comment on zantrost (2018-11-18 19:16) message:
Then maybe the “Country” characteristic should be replaced with the “country of fruit origin”. To avoid confusion with the country of origin of the label.

Thanks for the reply and for your remarks, Michael!
I really like your catalog. This is a fundamental job. But only the one of the characteristics of the catalog's entries is absolutely not understandable, at least for me. That's why, I think, the Catalog contains many errors. I mean the characteristic "Country". For example, why do you think that AlbaFresh sticker is a label from Ecuador? Nothing there is on the label confirming it's origin from Ecuador. Quite the contrary, there are many argumentative confirmations of it's Albanian origin. I mean company's name, identical design of company's logo and label's image, website of the company etc. Honestly, I don't understand why we, users of catalog, should ignore all this info.

zantrost (2018-11-18)

If I get this sticker, I would consider it Ecuadorian. Info about company's origin is not unimportant for me, because then I know where it is more chance this sticker can be find. But in this catalog, I think sorting by country of origin of fruit is better.

Please give it up Leonid. I understand but I can't follow even if you repeat it many times.

You will never convince me to document at each of our 30.000 labels where the companies are located, because this information belongs to the company and NOT to the label.

But you can add as much information to the brand as you like at the catalog entries. Just EDIT the catalog entry. This is so far the right place to give any background information + links to websites about brands & companies. We all would be happy to read what you know about the banana companies.

8-)

Quite right, colleague! Company has own website:
http://frutaekzotike.com/
And everyone may see that the stickers are from Albania. Their design coincides with the company's logo. Bananas really are from Ecuador. But we collect stickers, not bananas ...

zantrost (2018-11-13)

Albanian company, bananas from Ecuador.
