Statement of the previous owner of this label:
"There's no date on the label, but it came from an old cinderella stamp album in which the most recent stamp was about 1962. So I would say it dates to 1940's or 1950's. With a quick Google search I found that the Golden Vale banana plantation was located in Jamaica, and owned by the Boston Fruit Company as early as 1885."

Please also notice that the text "REG. U.S. PAT. OFF." is the same as on the famous MELORIPE label.
