It is good that you (FN) kept the old image. Unfortunately, your new one is not an improvement from my point of view, so I have moved it to the second position.
The label is about fifty percent white and against the white background it is hardly visible. I assume you collect your stickers on a white sheet of paper. However, you might consider using a slightly yellowish background instead. That would create better contrast and make the label much clearer.

Unfortunately, not really. ;-

To ensure the stickers are easily comparable on screen and displayed harmoniously within the catalog, we follow a consistent standard: Yellow background, 300 dpi resolution and cropped to 300 × 405 pixels (meaning the canvas size is fixed, the sticker itself is not tightly trimmed).

By the way, you are certainly not alone, many collectors are still in the process of refining their scanning technique.
In my experience, producing a clean and well-balanced scan does not actually take more time, since the basic steps are the same. The main difference is simply becoming familiar with the scanner settings and practicing proper alignment and consistent cropping. After a bit of routine - perhaps half an hour of focused practice - the results usually improve noticeably.
It is really just a matter of getting comfortable with the technic.
Some time ago, I also summarized my thoughts on scanning quality and catalog presentation in this short article: “What Makes a Catalog Good” (https://banana-label-catalog.org/article/what-makes-catalog-good).

I don't use a yellow background under the labels, so I won't contribute to the catalog?
To make the catalog great, even more issues are needed...
On the one hand, there are many variations in the batva in the catalog, which are reissues - I agree. But it is important who puts these variations in the catalog...
Not to mention the large stickers and stickers from the boxes - they are rejected...
