One of the finest banana labels found in Japan. The same label placed on the fruit is also placed outside the box, and so I found piles of Alishan boxes behind produce stores and added a number of coded labels that were new to me. Taiwan Alishan was once common in Japan, and very expensive, but with the decline of Taiwan production due to Panama Disease TR-4 they are now a rare treat.
