This is a baseball promotional label found on bananas in western Japan. I found them at Kagoshima on the island of Kyushu. Most were seen on the outer plastic of bagged bananas, but on my second visit to the same department store produce department, I found a few hands of bananas out on display, with the labels directly on the fruit. It's one of my all-time favorites.
