This collection was sent in the 80's by a family member of the del monte owner who was in an internship in CR. After several months in CR, he return to europe and sent those stickers as a gift. They used it in europe as a promotional. This story was told by Chico López, former Del Monte Planning employee.

I do not know exacly the story of this fantastic labels. But what I have understood, is that this old labels are added to the banana box for promotion and have not been on bananas.
"KÄPT'N" is used in north of Germany for "captain"
