I don't scan them, I photograph them. Can't do it properly cos get lights (flares) in my pictures
Then there could be something wrong with your scanner, i guess. Because this seems also to have a different shape.

Just a question on how you scan the labels? The pictures have more width than the existing ones? Does the picture have got the same proportions like the label? May be it would help, if you add the sisze in mm to the details ...
probably it's just a typographic defect, but my frutter has a white pants, not grey
